At the IL regional I gave Walker(team Suzuki) and Hunter Brightwell the Brain-Pad to try. Walker has allergies and tried an upper only mouthguard but couldn't breathe. I told them if they have any problems to call you ( i gave them some cards and lit.) or me. I will see them tomm. and let you know what they thought.

On a sad note I also gave one to a 17 yr old A rider (top amateur level) who was State champion the last 2 yrs. He molded it Fri nite before the Sat race in Portland,IN last weekend. He decided not to wear it til he was practicing so he could get used to it. He went into the first turn on Sat. and hooked bars with 2 of his buddies. He got slammed head first before he could react and broke the 1st and 2nd vertebrae in his neck. Don't know if it would've helped but he didn't have a conc. or lose conciousness so it was probably just unlucky. Fortunately he didn't damage his spinalcord and after 3 months in a halo he will make a full recovery.

We are once again reminded how dangerous this sport can turn in an instant. The Brain-Pad has definately protected my son over and over again.
Plus it keeps him breathing and performing at his best. We will continue to show your product around to riders, officals and parents alike.

 . . just got a piston in a bike and I'm loading up for the last Regional. At the Illinois regional last week, Colton had the fastest lap times all through the 2nd day practices.

The second race he got a terrible start, but within 2 laps he was in 9th and passin them like crazy.

Then he went to make a pass in the whoops, the kid came over on him and he flipped.I didn't see him hit the ground, but a Mom yelled he landed on his head and isn't moving! I ran over and he was on his back in the middle of the track.

He sat up as soon as I got there, He said,

                                                    "I landed on my head, then the bike landed on me and knocked the wind out of me.".

I told him not to move his head and he stood up and said,

                                                                                            "my head's fine, start my bike!".

He finished 36th but he took off like he was in first and laid down an awesome lap time.
I couldn't believe it, I'm convinced he would have been knocked out or worse if he hadn't had the Brain-Pad in.He absolutely loves it, he tells everyone he can breathe better with it, than without it. He used to ride with his mouth open and sometimes his tongue sticking out. Now he clamps down on the Brain-Pad and went from broken teeth and a twice bitten tongue, to no problems at all.

4 weeks ago he was hit from behind and was driven hard into the ground. He hit so hard that he bit through the edges of the mouth guard, not one broken tooth and no complaint of head pain, just a sprained shoulder and an xray bill.

The lanyard atachment is the best, he can pull it out to talk then pop it in to ride, alot better then grabbing one with nasty gloves so you can talk.

I have a very hard time getting Ethan to try new safety epuiptment. He has asthma and chronic sinus problems. The BrainPad "does not" limit his ability to breathe at all.  In fact he says he breathes better with it in. Thank you for bringing this product to our attention. I like so many other parents thought that a mouth guard was simply for cosmetic purposes. I am always looking for things to make this sport safer.

". . . we are heading to PA on Thurs. for the first regional. Racing is Sat. and Sun. Colt was on fire and still should do well this weekend but he has had two good spills the last two weeks.

The last crash he had, he took most of the impact on his head and shoulder  but never once complained of any head pain, just a bruised shoulder, and a shiner.

No way he walks away from that hit without a concussion without the BRAIN-PAD mouthguard.

I Know of six travelling riders wearing the Brain-Pad now and had alot of people ask about it at the out of state tracks.

I thought I should let you know that we got a chance to get some BIG AIR today and put your guards to the test.

No offence intended, but we were more or less expecting a bulky, awkward piece of plastic better suited for use under a football or hockey helmet.

You should be pleased to know that we could not have been more wrong. We were very happy with how comfortable and easy to use these guards were. We plan on keeping them in our gear bags and using them in the future.

I actually had a close encounter with my handlebars today and can't tell you how excited I am to still have all of my teeth in place. I was impressed.
